     Take charge of the administrative issues of the organ; take charge of such affairs as document disposal, information, advice, proposal, resolutions and archives, confidential issues, letter-or-visit matters, acceptance and liaison, as well as the organization of important meetings; take charge of the supervision and inspection of the issues made in the key documents and the meeting resolutions; take charge of the foreign affairs of the bureau organ and the direct reporting organizations.

Office of the CPC Committee
     Take charge of the Party building and ideological and political work of the organ and the direct reporting organizations; take charge of the Youth League and Labor Union of the body and the direct reporting organizations.

Legal System Department
     Take charge of the examination on the validity of the criterion documents of the organ; supervise and inspect the implement of the relevant laws, codes, regulations and policies in the organ and the affiliated organizations; take charge of supervising the administrative enforcement about roadway administration; accept and handle administrative reconsideration, administrative compensation cases and lawsuit agency for administrative suits according to laws; organize the hearing meetings about administrative penalty.

Supervision and Inspection Department
     Take charge of the discipline supervision and inspection of the organ and affiliated organizations.

Integrating Planning Department
     Take charge of studying and drafting out the annual scheme of building, repairing and maintaining roadways, bridges and the supporting facilities, and organizing the implementation; take charge of drafting out the annual scheme of the roadway special fund; take charge of the approval of the project estimate (budget), and the examination of final accounts in the annual scheme; take charge of checking the transfer of toll road operation right and setting up and adjusting toll stations; take charge of the statistics of the roadway administrative industry in Beijing.

Highway Administration Department
     Take charge of the roadway administration in Beijing; take charge of the examination and approval of digging and occupying the highway as well as the bridges and aqueduct crossing the highways; take charge of checking and approving the temporary buildings in the building control scope on both sides of highways; take charge of checking and approving the roadways for overloading vehicles and tracklayers; take charge of coordinating the relevant departments to check and approve the setting up of ads and fingerpost by occupying roadways, cooperative construction and roadway construction in the urban area; take charge of coordinating the relevant departments to check and approve such issues as opening channels, setting steps, doors and slopes on both sides of the roadway in the urban area; take charge of executing administrative penalty to such behaviors as damaging the roadway property and right and etc.

Roadway Construction Department
     Be responsible for the supervision and management of the roadway construction project technical standards; be responsible for organizing the acceptance of roadway projects; be responsible for the quality supervision of roadway construction projects in accordance with law; be responsible for the supervision and management of public bidding for roadway construction projects; coordinate with related organizations to make out the parking lots settings on both sides of the roadway; be responsible for drafting out the construction standard of the operating parking facilities.

Railway Crossing Safety Department
     Carry out and execute the regulations and codes related to the railway crossing safety management; instruct the districts and counties to strengthen the supervision and management of the railway crossing; participate in the investigation and disposal of important accident occurred at the railway crossing; be responsible for the supervision and management of the safety facility scheme for railway crossings; coordinate with related organizations to study and settle the problems that threatens the transportation safety at the railway crossing.

Railroad Construction Department
     Be responsible for organizing the acceptance of railroad transportation projects; be responsible for the supervision and management of the technical standards for railroad transportation construction projects; be responsible for the quality management and supervision in railroad transportation construction projects.

Science, Technology and Safety Department
     Be responsible for stipulating the annual scheme for the key technological development items in the industry; be responsible for drafting out the local technical standards and criteria for the acceptance of roadway, railroad transportation construction projects and roadway maintenance; be responsible for organizing the promotion and application of the technological achievements in roadway and railway transportation construction and maintenance; be responsible for the safety management of roadway, bridges, railways and relevant supporting facilities.

City Roadway Maintenance Administration Department
     Be responsible for the administration of the repair and maintenance of urban roadway, bridges and supporting facilities under the management of the municipal government; Instruct, coordinate, supervise and inspect the repair, maintenance and management of the urban roadways, bridges and supporting facilities under the management of the district government; be responsible for the qualification administration of the urban roadway repair and maintenance enterprises; be responsible for the administration of supervising the quality of the urban roadway repair and maintenance projects; be responsible for the supervision and administration of urban roadway maintenance technical specifications.

Financial Department
     Be responsible for the supervision and management of the usage of roadway construction, repair and maintenance special funds and the income and payment of transportation fees; be responsible for the management of the transportation fees bills; be responsible for summarizing the estimates and budget of the body and its affiliated organizations; be responsible for the financial and fixed assets management of the body and its affiliated organizations.

Highway Maintenance Department
     Be responsible for the management of roadway repair and maintenance in Beijing; be responsible for the qualifications management of roadway repair and maintenance enterprises; be responsible for the management of the quality supervision for roadway repair and maintenance projects; be responsible for the supervision and management of the technical specifications for roadway maintenance and the technical standard for roadway greening.

Personnel Department
     Take charge of the cadre management in accordance with the cadre management limit; take charge of the personnel management and the organization setting management of the organ and its direct affiliated departments; take charge of the training management of roadway administrative industry in Beijing.
